It’s retrograde season…again. This time around we’ve got Saturn making this somewhat chaotic transit. Saturn turns retrograde at 25 degrees of Aquarius in June (4th) and will slowly make it’s way through the retrograde period, stationing direct at 18 degrees in the same sign on October 22nd. As Saturn is considered a transcendental planet (natal Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto), this means we’ll be feeling the effects of this retrograde on a more subconscious level over a longer period of time. The main areas that Saturn governs in our lives are karma, foundations (like career and finances), responsibility, and paternal relationships. Saturn is also a generational planet, meaning most people in an age group or generation will share the same Saturn sign. This can mean that many people will experience similar themes, relating to different areas in their lives. For instance, a person with natal Saturn in the sixth house might see some changes in their physical health and appearance over the course of this retrograde. On the other hand, someone with natal Saturn placed in the seventh house could experience shifts in their relationship, like a marriage, or even a divorce. These are just a couple of general examples, you’ll have to look at your natal chart to get more specifics for your individual experience. People that were born from 1962–1964 and 1991–1994 have an Aquarius Saturn…
