New moon in Aquarius

This lunar transit marks the beginning of a new lunar cycle. The air element influence will cause for this to be a moon that is a little less emotionally charged than others. Manifestation and new beginnings related to the themes of community, independence, innovation, and communication will be prominent throughout this lunar cycle (Feb. 1-Mar. 2).

Juno enters Aquarius

Juno is an asteroid that serves as an important placement in our natal charts. In astrology Juno is generally associated with partnerships, commitment, betrayal, and compromise. Juno moving into Aquarius symbolizes a general energy of creating balance in our partnerships, meeting and working with new people and ideas, and an air of independence.

Mercury stations direct in Capricorn

This Mercurial transit marks the end of the first of four Mercury retrogrades this year. As the planet stations direct we will see an increase in action regarding the things that were under a microscope during the retrograde period. The planet moving forward in Capricorn gives an extra push toward diligence, routine and consistency.

Ceres enters Gemini

Ceres is another asteroid that serves as an important placement in our natal charts. In astrology Ceres is generally associated with nourishment, feminine energy, and familial relationships (more specifically speaking to maternal relationships and influence). Ceres moving into Gemini symbolizes a general energy of tapping into a higher understanding, ease of communication, and a generally positive energy.

Pallas enters Aries

Pallas is also an asteroid that serves as an important placement in our natal charts. In astrology Pallas is generally associated with intuition, justice, and artistic talents. Ceres moving into the constellation of Aries symbolizes a general energy of physical movement, tangible results, creative inspiration, and leveling the playing field by exerting personal effort.

Mercury enters Aquarius

This Mercurial transit heightens the energy of the planets’ direct motion. This transit also pushes us closer to the end of Mercury retrograde’s post-shadow period. The air element influence will give us the ability to pay extra attention to logic and perspective in areas concerning communication, companionship, even short-term travel. Mercury moving into Aquarius symbolizes a general energy of innovation, independence, and critical thinking.

Full moon in Leo

This lunar transit marks the midpoint of the Aquarius lunar cycle (Feb. 1-Mar. 2). The fire element influence will cause for this to be a moon that is a little more emotionally charged than others. Full moons typically harness the energies of release, clarity, and cultivation therefore, the Leo full moon will bring enlightenment in these areas in relation to fun, creativity, and [your] public persona.

Sun enters Pisces

This solar transit marks the beginning of the Pisces sun cycle (Feb. 18-Mar. 21). The water element influence will cause for this to be a short season of intuition, connection, creativity, and spirituality. Pisces is the mutable winter sign, meaning it wraps up the winter season. This will also be a time where we will feel encouraged to tie up loose ends and plant seeds of manifestation for new projects.

2/22/22 energetic portal opens

While this is more so concerned with numerology, this energy will work hand-in-hand with the astrological transits occurring during this time. The 2/22/2022 portal will bring in heightened energies with an emphasis in healing, ascension, and peace. This date also marks the United State’s first Pluto return.

The duration of time that we feel the energy of these transits is dependent upon each planet or asteroids’ speed through the solar system. Some transits are felt more intensely than others depending on the aspects they make to other celestial bodies and also, your personal chart. (*February is one of two months this year that will be almost entirely rid of any planetary retrograde energy, make the most of it!)
